Neat place and more to come. Building an 26 room hotel between the brewery and winery. The winery already offers 2 rooms inside silos and three rooms above winery area. There's also a distillery planned that will include a walk-in humidor. People are friendly beer and wine cold and tasty.
The silo suite is quite nice. New furniture, fire place, jacuzzi, nice kitchen. Nice bedroom.
8 tastings for $12, let's you take home the glass. Also huge wine slushies for $12 and affordable glasses of wine. Had a great night.
Did a day trip from French Lick to check out the lake and winery. We each tried a wine tasting which included wine slushy if desired. The server was knowledeable and fun. The set up was vert nice and provided a nice atmoshpere. They also had meat and cheese selection along with a few choices of cigars. Ample seating to try a bottle/glass outside.
Visited for my birthday. Loved the winery and hotel. We stayed in one of the Silo Rooms and it was beautiful. Couldn't ask for a nicer experience. We also enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting and bought several bottles of wine to take home. We ended up at the Birds Nest for dinner and had a nice little prime rib dinner. Great weekend all the way around.
We rented the event center, all the winery/silo suites, and cabins for our wedding only to get treated in disrespect and unfair by the VP of Operations, Heather. We had the absolute best day, cleaned that place to a T and she refused to refund our security deposit. I should add that the winery itself is so nice and it was one of my favorite places.
We were able to host some guests in the event space and everyone had a absolutely amazing time. Heather hosted us for the evening and gave us tours, ensured all the food was handled, and the fall décor was on point. I would recommend Patoka Lake Winery to anyone who is looking for a Southern Indiana hidden gem! So much to do in the area and the staff goes above and beyond with ALL accommodations.
The wine is pretty good. A little sweeter than it advertises. Like semi sweet is more of a sweet. The atmosphere is amazing. Views are nice. Employees are knowledgeable and friendly. The wine tasting is always fun and you get to keep the wine glass. Little shop for gifts and small deli style cheese trays, etc.
